errrm....

this does have a lot of potential, it could be a really good song. However can you not hear that the guitar is out of tune, and you're playing quite far out of time?

You're getting the three because the ideas are good, and the potential is there...but you need to sort out the guitar

NeverHundred responds:

I have spent many a long night revising this song before I realized that the guitar is not actually out of tune, but all the other instruments are out of tune! The shock and horror!

essence of daft punk

on first listen this reminded me of 'Alive' but with the synth sound of dp's more recent material. It's very impressive.
Would have been a ten but I don't think it should be a loop, I think you should either have made it longer and develop it more or remove the fade in/out, otherwise i don't think it works.
Apart from that, it sounds ace! =)

bornacar responds:

Yeah well I`m still working on it....definitively will make a song out of this.

Thank you very much for the review its been helpful:)

amazing

just for lolz eh? =P
this is actually something I was thinking of doing, don't think I'll bother now. Did you play the piano yourself or is it programmed/sampled? Moonlight Sonata is a beautiful piece of music, and you've put a fresh spin on it, as it has tended to be a little overplayed (Beethoven himself once said of it 'surely I've written better pieces')
One criticism is the strings have a slight tendency to overpower the piano, and they change the mood from pensive to something more...melodramatic (probably the wrong word for it)
However well done, I think it's great =)

lol

this made me laugh...kinda works as a piss take =)

also I was reading your author comments...calm down man! =P

made me smile =)

sounds a bit like a song from Lemmings...but that's a good thing!!
only problem is there's like half a second of silence which makes the looping awkward, apart from that...brilliant!!

Genraltweet responds:

I'm glad it made you smile :)

I didn't think of that but yeah it does sound a little like Lemmings.
I don't have the full Fruity loops program because I don't have the money for it so I only have the demo version :( so I don't know how to make that awkward second go away. But thanks for the review!

really good, but not really ambient...

it is too fast to be ambient, both in tempo and the parts. However it is still an awesome, especially the synth part at 2.33 I think. Your programming is amazing, must've taken a long time programming. One small criticism is the synth choice...it's a little too Owl City for my taste, but then again that's just me!

Cynus responds:

Yeah, it took a long while for me to get the sounds I wanted for the synth lead.

And also it's not ambient I know, but it's very chill for my music.

haha nice one!

very burlesque, i love it, sorry to ask a silly question but is the piano you playing or is it sequenced?

Keep it up man, it sounds ace! =)

Nice

Right from the intro I liked this, you've got a good drum sound, and the whole looping is really nice and chilled. And it kept on developing and changing so it never really got boring.
Would have been a ten but there are times when the guitar went a little out of time, but that's just something that bothers me when I'm doing recordings =P
